I hear your challenges and brilliance. I literally hear it in your voice.

For over a decade, I focussed on healing my own voice because I wanted to be a singer, and I had talent but, unfortunately, a dysfunctional voice! Over the course of learning to uncover the secrets of resonance and effortless expression, I discovered how my voice works and developed the sensitivity to hear what’s happening for others.

This helped me a lot in my voice coaching practice back in 2001. My studio had a waiting list.

I had nearly forgotten what value this holds until Rich Litvin started losing his voice in a seminar he was holding and didn’t seem to know. I offered to help him, but he said he didn’t need help. Half an hour, he called me back as the hoarseness started setting in: “how did you know?”

I’ve been working with Rich and other top-level coaches in the industry to become more resonant, vocally aligned and deepen the integrity between the message and the messenger.

Nobody is immune from challenges, struggles and frustrations. Nobody is immune from sensitive emotions. And most of us never learned to healthily voice ourselves. Many still struggle to “find their voice” in the world.

One of the ways we keep challenging emotions down is by clamping our throat. Our expression is challenged when we feel we are not ok to speak or show our truth. And when our truth is connected to undesirable emotions such as anger or sadness - it’s only understandable. No wonder my voice was locked in at 5 tones and sounded angry most of the time. I held a lot with the power of my throat.

To express with pleasure is a process that requires gentle liberation of your deeper parts, the ones that seem hidden and locked.

To voice with resonance is a joy and a gift.
