Beat the haze
Nov 25, 2024Do you ever experience feeling hazy and vague?
Just not quite switched-on?
Unproductive yet trying to keep busy?
When you’re in "the Haze", productivity, motivation, and happiness seem distant.
You may feel tired, lazy, or disengaged, comfortably nestled on the couch, thoughts floating in and out without resolution.
It's a realm where mundane tasks feel like a struggle, and inspiration remains elusive.
Many try to evade or fight the Haze, considering it a hindrance to creativity and results.
However, understanding its trigger points—lack of sleep, busyness, uncontrollable events, and overwhelm—offers a different perspective.
The Haze often descends after periods of intense activity or external events impacting life.
It serves as a signal, urging us to catch up with ourselves, find inner peace, and recharge.
When life feels overwhelming or routines are disrupted, the Haze steps in, creating a space for rest and introspection.
As a single mother, nurse and carer to my son, frequent hospital visits, business owner and human, I can share this:
Acknowledging the Haze's positive purpose helps foster self-compassion. Rather than viewing it as a hindrance, it becomes a call for inner peace and deep relaxation.
Embracing this understanding allows for forgiveness, leading to genuine rest and energy renewal.
In this rested state, creativity, courage, and results flourish.
The Haze, with its seemingly poor strategy, conceals a noble cause—to guide us towards inner peace and self-nurturing.
Embrace the Haze, find solace, and let the energy return, fuelling a vibrant flame of livelihood. 🌫️✨
And that in return breeds creativity, courage and results.
Try it.
