Embody Pleasure

In 2017, my entire life was flipped upside down. ⠀

I separated from my husband, moved our kids out of the family home and began the discovery process of learning how to be a single parent. ⠀
⠀
All of these things are full-time jobs on their own. And yet it’s the career or the business that mainly holds our identity and worth. ⠀
⠀
If it’s not thriving, we’re not thriving 💔 Or at least, that’s how it felt to me.⠀
I was embarrassed and ashamed that I wasn’t making the money or experiencing the success I thought I needed to be worthy. Realizing that I wasn’t where I thought I should be was a hard pill to swallow. ⠀

But then I remembered that at the centre of everything I wanted, was pleasure ✨⠀
So I stopped forcing myself to fit into society’s definition of success and instead I started to create my own. And the more I began to embody pleasure and tap into the “feminine" with all the wild creative unpredictable meeting of my needs, the more my life started to fall into place. ⠀
