Luxury and Hopelessness

I tried on a £161,500 necklace. It suits me well. A ring that’s over half a million. @hirshlondon

I found the perfect necklace at £17,200 @bulgari and a diamond ring I liked for 10k felt like a bargain!

I loved that I gifted myself the experience of trying these on. A few years ago I would have had heart palpitations going into expensive shops like this because I felt I didn’t belong there. I don’t come from money. I’d feel like a fraud going in!

Now I feel belonging because I choose to belong. Luxury is my natural habitat.

I might be a person wearing such jewellery before you know it.

I spend more money on my personal & professional development than this… (the 500k not quite yet) so…

I felt expanded and full of possibilities.

Then I passed Amy at London Bridge station. She’s homeless. I felt the call to stop. I sat with her.
Listened to her story of leaving her abusive partner, 2 collapsed lungs, having survived weeks in a coma, not being allowed the vaccines and then struggling to get into housing because of it.

She needs a base. She needs a job.
She needs clothes.
I could hear her mind go in circles on where to start. Everything was impossible.

I coached her to look for solutions and possibilities.
We calculated what she needs to get started and got to £250 if she’s getting a job paying weekly. With cash in hand, it will be less.
To get a job she needs clothes.
So tomorrow she’ll go to a charity shop and say: I am on a mission to get off the street. Can you help me? I need clothes to get a job.

She will change her sign.
It won’t say the usual I’m homeless and need a hostel.
It will read: I am on a mission to get off the street.
Can you help me?
I need deodorant, toothpaste, money for the hostel so I can shower, luggage storage to go job hunting...

I’ve got her set up with the hygiene essentials she needed too. She texted me later from the hostel grateful and excited.
Feeling expanded by luxury helps me see the impossible as possible.
My heart is full. I followed the flow. What are we creating next?!
